Lowes complicated my bathroom remodeling order several times. I ordered online at ONE store, but the order was split between THREE stores. To avoid THREE delivery charges, I had to call each store, cancel the items, then reorder at ONE store. Took so many calls to get this suggestion from a manager, I lost count. I called EVERY SINGLE DAY for a week, early mornings, after work. THREE different stores, 10 people total. Next -- Prices increased on a few items after the order was put in. Ok, that didn't break my wallet. However, I was billed twice for a tub and cancelled bath doors somehow reappeared for delivery - more phone calls to cancel those Items. One day, I got a call from a driver delivering a refrigerator which I never ordered! More phone calls. FINALLY all the items were delivered (Yay!!! or so I thought). Next day my bill was emailed to me! How fast they ask for payment after screwing up for over week! I reviewed my bill and a toilet costing $239 was posted for $368. More calls exposed they charged me for delivery of a fridge. Called to resolve the error, so I can PAY BILL IN FULL but my bill is still not corrected, I was told maybe charges will go away, give it a few days. I will redo my kitchen next, but I doubt I will use Lowes because I cannot rely on customer support. I don't fault the employees, CORPORATE OFFICE makes decisions like not having plumbing staff available on weekends. Corporate does not have policies on how to handle online order issues. Furthermore, they don't want to hear from us, that is why it is so difficult to even contact them to issue a formal complaint.

I purchased the whirlpool washing machine, stove, dryer, and refrigerator back right before the pandemic on 9/4/2019. I purchased the extended 3 year warranty with each item too. I have the receipt to prove it too. My washing machine has messed up 3x since I purchased it. The warranty people have come out and fixed it for the same reasons each time and now this time in March 2022 it messed up again and they told me the system/circuit board has went out on it and they would have to order another one and it would take 3 weeks to get here. I called them after 3 weeks they told me it could be another 5 to 8 weeks to get here, but that’s not guaranteed because it’s on back order. Lowe’s has gave me the runaround about a buyout. Now it’s been 8 weeks that I have not had a washing machine. The warranty place today me today that they still don’t have the part and that it’s still on back order and have no clue when it will come in. Lowe’s has promise me someone will call me back in 4-7 days, then 2 day, then the next day, but nobody will ever call you back from Lowe’s. I have spent over six hours just this week on hold trying to speak to someone. I finally got to speak to someone on Friday and she sent me an email where I filled out questions about my washer. I answered everything and even attached my receipt to the email. Saturday I received a call from a very rude lady named Linda. She first tried to tell me my warranty had expired. I purchased it 9/4/2019. So NO it hasn’t. She argued with me about that. Then she changed her whole story and said that I didn’t purchase a warranty and it’s clear on the receipt that I did. She continued to raise her voice and talk over me and would not let me even speak. I ended the call, because of how rude she was being and my kids we’re getting upset that I was upset. I have 4 small children and I’m having to go to the laundromat and spend out even more money to do my laundry. This has been the worst customer service I’ve experienced.

They appear to be concerned when you've been burdened with mistakes made by their stores, but getting them to do more than listen is difficult to achieve.

Everyone is short on most models of refrigerators. There are only a handful of models available within 7 days. The rest will be 2-6 weeks to arrive depending on manufacturer, popularity, and shipping time. This is a direct result of everyone using this time at home to update their appliances, and in some cases their entire interiors.
