Inferior customer service and robbing people with the high cost of electricity. I moved here from the mountains where my bills were half of what this company is charging and we never lost power. I will leave this area once my lease is up, the main reason , HIGH POINT ELECTRIC!!!

Good luck on ever getting anyone to answer phone calls... electricity out several times this year and after an hour, we called to find out what's going on(no storms in area at these times) and no one answers to give info.

For this power company I sold my house and I'm leaving High Point. The toilet in my house had water leaking, when I repaired the toilet, the cost of water dropped considerably, because these people came to my house on a Thursday and accelerated the water meter so that it would reach me 20 dollars more expensive. I have a ring camera and I saw everything there, apart from the light of these people in the winter is ridiculously HIGH, and their customer service is most of the time rude! Bottom line: I LOVE High Point, I love the city, but this power company PLUS E-Green postal mail customer service ARE AWFUL!!!, I think they should hire staff who love their customer service job and not to anyone who says they know how to operate a computer!
