15 years ago we met Log Homes of America at a log home show with a sketch of our dream and quickly realized this was the company for us. Log Homes of America, Inc assure you that it will take liitle more than a year to complete the log cabin home. It took them over a year and it still wasn't done, just the dry in. We were handed off to another builder who said 12 weeks which actually took 1 and 1/2 years. Now we are having problems with water seeping into house through windows that have not been installed properly. DO NOT USE THIS BUILDER!!! THE TROJAS, BRIGHTWATER ON THE NEW RIVER

Hi Marsha, great question. Our typical logs are made of kiln-dried white pine, but we do offer air-dried pine as well as other species upon customer request.
Hi Trudy, thank you for your question. We do sell log siding in a variety of profiles and styles typically made of kiln-dried white pine. We even offer hand-hewing as a finish option!
