The people at the office are amazing. When it comes to having your home built the project manager Rick is absolutely awful. He never answers your calls and the electrician he uses is very bottom rate. M&M is the name of that company. Been lied to many times but Rick about the electrical work. Six weeks later only half has been done.

My candid review of our experience thus far with AHP Statesville- We're about a month away from finishing. Started off with Jill, who was stellar. She was able to put things in a floorplan that we didn't think were possible. Susan was great to work with in the design phase... so patient and helpful. When it came time to build, we have definitely had our ups and downs. The process has not been perfect (that doesn't exist with ANY builder as we've learned!) But I'm giving AHP 5 stars because of our Project Manager, Steven. I can't imagine going through the building process at a time like this without an outstanding, professional, and knowledgeable PM like Steven. The process has taken a lot longer than expected due to workers being short-staffed, building supply shortages, covid delays, etc. But whenever anything has come up, Steven makes himself very available and makes sure any concerns are handled and that everything is going the way it should... he goes above and beyond!! The only advice I would give a new client is to know everything you want before that final draft of your floorplan... this will avoid a $500 change order fee. For instance, I would love to change out the ceiling fan in my vaulted-ceiling living room to a simple farmhouse chandelier that I purchased... but it's not allowed... this is frustrating because it's going to be harder for me to change out the ceiling fan to the chandelier after we move! It would be great if AHP was more flexible with these type of scenarios. But overall- 5 stars!

I stopped in to talk about possible building plans. First I had to go through the maze to find the front door then the lady when I walked in was arrogant. I left from there! Sedgwick was a lot nicer and willing to help me with finding the right home layout!
