I'm rating this a three star, mostly because of hostess Desiree. Her breakfast area was amazing and she was consistently moving through the area replenishing and cleaning. Now for the actual hotel... We were warned the hotel was under construction. It appears there are 15 projects going on, with nothing being finished. The first room we were put in was filthy and needed a good vacuuming. We were then moved to another floor. Room seemed clean, but the dresser took a good grab to open and there is NO storage whatsoever besides the dresser. Want to hang something up... call the desk to pick up a mobile wardrobe. Want to have a place to hang up damp towels --- one hook on the back of the door. The shower rod is too high to reach. For everyone bringing makeup, hair products, other bathroom essentials - you need to also have an area to store them... not in the bathroom - absolutely no storage here. For this being a Hilton brand, we were disappointed.

Rooms were clean, but I too failed to check the reviews and didn’t know renovations were underway at the hotel. Our rooms were in bad shape though, and this had nothing to do with the exterior renovations. The mattresses aren’t great. The blind wasn’t attached to the roller mechanism so it fell right off when we tried to close it. The shower handle was broken but could be manipulated to work ok. The doors connecting the adjoining rooms were both painted shut. The rooms don’t have closets or fridges. The ironing board was just leaning on the wall in the corner. The TVs are Smart TVs, but they don’t have network connectivity, so you can’t log into apps. The staff were very friendly though! And like I said, everything was clean.

Hotel is under renovation but thought we would at least get a room in better shape. Can see some things upgraded / renovated in room but bathroom floor and shower were dirty as if not cleaned since install. Found water still in the bottom of the ice bucket - eww. Blinds wouldn't go all the way down so had to wait until it got dark to sleep. Nope, lights outside shining in window so we had to stuff pillows and the sofa pillows in a/c unit to block light. Refrigerator was fine but needs to be de-iced. Connecting room door was unlocked. Glad I checked. Doors stick because they painted inside trim. Lost of slamming doors to close. On the good side, staff was friendly and helpful. Didn't eat breakfast but smelled good and coffee was hot.

Positive: Nothing Negative: Many things. Awful intersection to the hotel. Lobby area not inviting and breakfast area small. Room was dingy and dated. Did not feel safe at the property. Parked on side of building and my keycard would not open the door. Breakfast was not great.
