I believe that we received a red foot tortoise that had a respiratory infection. He died shortly after we received him. We will not be buying any other pets from here.

My little tortoise Lego arrived today and I couldn’t be happier. He/she started eating and drinking right out the box after a little soak. Now I Can’t wait for my son to get home and see it. I was nervous at first because shipping took a little while but overall I got what I paid for. The tortoise is BEAUTIFUL!!! & I’ll definitely be shopping again.

They just did some really cool improvements in their shop this week. Looks great! Super helpful staff and healthy looking reptiles.

I previously bought 3 hognose snakes online from SaS, all healthy and good shopping experiences. I recently ordered 2 kingsnakes, one of which turned out to be unavailable. I asked for another to replace it, no problem. Communication wasn't very clear regarding the morph I had requested (they had it listed as albino but came back to me saying amel, which they also had listed but for a lot more $). I responded clarifying that I wanted the one listed as albino. Their response to that was "yeah, that's the same thing, lol". I responded that I was just trying to be clear, because their listings and communication wasn't, and lol'ing at your customer was pretty unprofessional. I received a response from them "if you can't take a chuckle don't know what to tell you". I then asked them to cancel my order and refund my money, I'd rather give my money to someone who doesn't treat their customers so poorly. They didn't cancel my order, didn't respond to my message asking for cancellation, and still sent the snakes to me. My future business will definitely be going elsewhere. Now seeing all of the negative reviews here and the way SaS responds to them, I'm not at all surprised by this experience. Edit after owner's response: PLEASE keep proving my point. You want me to be petty? I can be petty. I've given you well over $1k of my money, I've given you positive reviews. I messaged you to cancel this order at 8:31am. You updated the status of my order to shipping at 12:41pm that same day, so over 4 hours after. I still haven't seen an actual response to that message. You want to keep harassing people here to make sure they message you the way you want in the place you want? Make sure you read them and respond timely! Keep being a condescending a## to your customers and see where that gets you. If you don't want customers to clarify what they want or to leave you negative reviews, learn how to run a damn business! I will now spend every minute of my petty damn day making sure you get NO business from anyone I know in this hobby. Also, this order was shipped 8/24, so 10 days ago at the time of this review. Not sure that qualifies as WEEKS ago, or how that's relevant at all? I debated even writing a review because I didn't really want to deal with the bullying I saw of other customers who did leave bad reviews for you. But thanks again for proving what a terrible business you are to deal with! I had originally made this a 2 star review, which I also debated at first but gave you a bit of benefit of the doubt, but ok, fine, I'll take one away. LOL

I had the same problem. When they finally emailed me back, this number was in the email, I think it's a phone number, hope this helps 305-75-SNAKE
Facemask are required to enter the store, social distancing is requested (though it's a small store) & they clean the place regularly.
They probably have it, if not they might be able to help you get one, the staff there is super helpful
Try calling again or reaching out thru social media
I had the same problem. I had to contact them to find out the ship date. The communication is poor. Plus they sent me the wrong snake.
Yes
You should go to the vet after buying any animal to make sure it's healthy and not sick in any way. Mites are nearly unavoidable and you should buy spray for them anyway to keep them out of your snake's enclosure. Out of all the times I have bought snakes from Snakes at Sunset they all arrived healthy. The only bad thing about it was I once recieved the wrong snake and was never compensated. You should call in before placing an order or just go there if it's in your area.
Just go to your cart in the top and once you click it then you can edit amount or just delete depending on what you want to do
They are very nice pets to have but they need there betting changed once every two week also need to eat every two weeks. It's about 20 dollars a month. Besides that they are fun to play with.good luck and if you ever want to buy one I have two 3 and a half ball python if your interested. Thanks
If u don't see and bulge in the belly it hasn't been feed. What kinda of snake did u get
I'm not sure, they ship overnight through FedEx
of course they are
No you can take them in any container that's suitable, good luck
we went 2 weeks ago and they do carry veiled chameleons in store
Like all reptiles the veiled chameleon requires very particular care and every adult will have different temperament. Some might never want to be handled and will bite you. Some can be groomed into handling but it's not a guarantee. This is an animal that requires a tall screen habitat with a drip water source. Make sure you carefully read up on care sheets and needs for any reptile you want to care for.
There is always movement in the sale of snakes and reptiles, I recommend you visit them to see what is available sometimes have young, young or adults of different weights.
You should attempt to call the store at 12am florida time, theyre really good at answering questions
Call for current stock. Website isn't always up to date

Same happened with my blue eyed lucy, after 6 weeks I started assist feeding him (which isn't good to do but he was very small). I did that every other week for another 6 weeks and then tried live pinkies which he ate on his own (but also not a good idea). We got him in March and now its August and only a couple months ago began eating f/t on his own. It does take time for them to adjust, consider the nice habitat that you have him in now compared to the breeding boxes they have been in their entire lives and probably never really hand fed. I would suggest trying to find live pinky mice and letting his natural instinct kick in, and then he will probably get used to the idea of f/t being the same as live, just also be sure to warm the f/t to what a live mouse's body temp would be. Hope this helps! Also be sure to feed him in a different container than his usual habitat!
They do. Prices vary. You need to call them.
My little guy is offered a variety so that he can pick and choose what he wants to eat I like to give him little tiny feeder fish too he seems to really like chasing after it and I was told to offer him vegetation just so that when he gets older he doesn't reject it
Rest assured your snake has teeth. If your snake had fangs, you would have to have permits and many hours working with venomous snakes. You cant take a snakes teeth away. Perhaps look a little closer when feeding your new snake. It pulls the food into its mouth using its teeth (however small they might be).
Follow them on ig they post all snakes their
Tegus, uromastyx, bearded dragon,Savannah monitors, water monitors, and so much more.
