Sam ,our guide, was great! He was patient, encouraging, & had a good sense of humor. He had three young kids (9, 12, & 14 years old) on his raft that were nervous since they didn’t have much/any experience of white water rafting. He did a fantastic job making them feel at ease on the river. He did this by clearly explaining the rapids & what to do for each one. We would definitely go again on the Upper Pigeon River rafting trip as it was our favorite family activity of our trip!

There are A LOT of options for rafting on the Pigeon River, and I'm so glad we chose Raft Outdoor Adventures. This was definitely the highlight of our trip. We did the upper rapids and had an amazing time. What made it such an awesome experience was our guide, Becky. I don't think I can say enough good things about her--- she was actually helping to direct cars into the parking lot and we loved her energy and I actually said to our group, "Man--- she seems awesome, I hope she's a guide and we get her." Well, as fate turns out, we did! She was experienced on the river (8+ years) and she did a lot of little extras on and in-between rapids to make the trip memorable. She was also fun to talk to and had such an awesome vibe and style. ♥️ The facilities were nice, the bus was clean and ran well, and being the first stop at the end of the upper rapids with their own private exit was a huge plus! When we go back, we're using Raft Outdoor Adventures and really hoping Becky is there.

My family and I had a blast!! This was my kids first time to go white water rafting and they loved it! Our guide was wonderful and everyone there was so great and helpful! We would definitely recommend Raft Outdoor Adventures to all of our friends and family and plan to go back again someday!
