Such a well kept temple. The Hindu shrines inside are decorated with detail and kindness towards the idol statues. Though photography isn't allowed within the temple for reasons of respect, you can tell just by walking through the entrance that the community takes such delicate care of everything inside. The temple is surrounded by a beautiful view of the surrounding mountains and hosts monthly cultural events. The drive over passed through deep countryside filled with donkies, barns, and silos. Very beautiful.

We have been to soma blvd few months back where we had a pleasant stay @ cottage with all facilities. Temple darshan was so divine and environment is so Serene. Saturday evening we had meal @ temple canteen. It was a pleasant satvik dinner with not much spices. Morning we had great chai For the cold weather along with awesome couscous upma and pickle with other bread cereals varieties Lunch Sambar was unique in flavor.Instead of split toor dal, broken one was added and it’s uncooked. (In Tamil, we say குருனை பருப்பு). If it was cooked properly taste would have been even more good. Since it’s half cooked it caused slight discomfort while returning from mountain. Really amazing chef. His efforts was awesome in trying Indian recipes especially no onion garlic. Finally I have to thank them for making delicious brownie and coconut cake which is eggless. Really amazing and delicious.

Nice weekend place to relax and refresh, the temple located at North Carolina and Tennessee border. The mountain views and small trial to a small waterfall which is called ganga park will give a nice vibe.

2 to 3 hours but if you want to enjoy beautiful Sun Rise you have to stay overnight.
Nothing compulsory, but wear a dress that you feel should feel to bw wore in a sacred place. Avoid shorts, and any revealing outfits.
If you want you can book the cottages which is just near the temple and charges are somewhere between $150-250. Well you get an amazing view from the rooms.
Actually, there is a no pet policy on the website.
As Rama Krishna suggested, Ashville will be the best place if you can get there by flight or train. Else plan from Charlotte or Greensboro, NC.

There are classes but the topics change. They may be on diet or exercise or healthy living. Sometimes they are on other topics related to Vedic knowledge. Also meditation classes.
