I had the opportunity to visit this park for the first time last weekend for our annual family photo session. While I havenβt viewed the professional proofs yet, I already know that they are going to be amazing. How could they not be in such a beautiful location? Tucked into the heart of downtown LO, there are so many unique settings located within this beautiful park that you are guaranteed to end up with dozens of stunning photos, even if you are just snapping a couple of candids with an iPhone like we did in the pics below. While I didnβt have the opportunity to explore all the amenities that this park has to offer, if you are searching for a location to take some gorgeous photos that is not too far off the beaten path, then you do not need to look any further. This hidden gem will not disappoint. There is also plenty of free parking on site as well.

Every time I go here I take somebody different this time was my girlfriend she was so amazing when we drove into this park how clean it was how it needs how tidy how a landscape was done right I mean this park is one of the best parts I've seen ever the atmosphere it's all top of the line although I would say the bathrooms are porta potties so you don't like them I'm going to go to the bathroom before you go there and man I would probably I would get married in this ποΈ park Tell me the kids behind there's a lot to see great pictures great place to enjoy your family's social gatherings graduation anniversaries happy birthday parties are just too much to list this part is just it's amazing I found personally veins of obsidian there but I don't think I'm not sure if you can take it out so I want to check into that. Most definite two thumbs up bring the family bring the friends have a blast go enjoy it peace I'm out!!!

This park has so much to do! There is a playground area for all ages! The sand pit has communal toys that stay there permanently. On the same level there is a pickle ball court, and a sports field. The next level down has a large grassy area for picnics and playing. Lower still is the river beach. Sometimes you find dogs off of the leash, but mostly the dogs are under control. There isnβt much shade at the beach in the Sandy area. Be sure to bring an umbrella and plenty of sun block. Everyone shares toys and plays together. If you are insular, this really isnβt the park for you.
smile it's just a game
I love to kayak here when I need to just get away. Its fun to swim, do boat sports and play with your kids. When it is warm out there tends to be a lot of people. During the colder months it's quieter and people like to feed the ducks. The geese are quite unafraid as well. If you live in the area and haven't visited, I recommend it.

Yes there are two restroom areas. One up by tennis area, and one further down. The further down one will be left of a big circles of grass. Both are open and ready for use at this time.

Yes. The play ground is on the upper level, high above the river parking lot. It is behind the playing fields and tennis courts.
Yes just watch out for fallin trees so dogs collar or Leach Don't get snagged
Sunrise to sunset. But there's no gate locking the parking lot. Hope that helps.
Most likley, IF you rent the facility.
I bet you could find one on the playground
