Too wet to continue after a little more than a third of a mile. I wore my winter boots, but the water on the trail was a foot or more deep and I had to turn back, with wet feet. Perhaps it will freeze over this winter; otherwise, I guess I will have to wait for a drought.

still flooded on both side - a/o 11/12/18 sorry to say
I've never noticed anything official. It just seems to be a preserve of some kind. If anyone knows of anything else, please let me know.
I dunno about fishing in the Nashua river. It was really polluted back in the 70s, and I've heard that there's still a lot of dyes from the old Fitchburg textile Mills on the bottom of the river.
