As a New Yorker I have a pretty unreasonably high expectations for pizza. So it's a good thing I have to drive 30 minutes to get sizzle pie because I'd probably never cook again. I've also been gluten free/dairy free for 10 years (mild sensitivity) but the GARLIC KNOTS are the only thing in Portland I break that for. Gluten and dairy sensitive options available and put everything else in the area to shame.

My wife and I both got vegan slices, and add always sizzle pie delivered. These guys have one of the best pizzas in the entire state of Oregon! Everything about their pizza: ratios, flavors, textures, are all perfectly on point. If you're craving good pizza, this is your place 💙💚💙

Last time I was there they had an order window and a pick up window. Noone could go inside. They had hand sanitizer and clean and used pens. They had a covered open air waiting area. Seemed about as good as it gets.

Seems like your standard hipster indifference/pretention. My tattooed/metalhead friends reportedly receive better service, so your experience might be more pleasant if you fit into that particular scene.
