This is a very nice family-friendly park! It appears to be well maintained with a separate playground for younger children, a dog park, playground, soccer field, basketball hoops, etc. I am looking forward to visiting this park again to get better look at all that's available! The only exception that did not sit well with me was the restrooms. YES, I have learned to be grateful to NOT not find the message "Sorry! Closed Due to Covid Restrictions". But still.... While I don't believe I've ever seen park restroom facilities look any different, it sure would be nice if one would take a higher road and set an example. The same goes for most gas station restrooms. It is almost unheard of to find a ladies room in either environment that does not have an eerie feeling looming at the door, then screams "user beware!" once the threshold is crossed. Once the mad sprint to complete my task is done the germ-a-phob in me propels me through the exit with lightning speed! Funny thing is, until I hit the fresh air, I don't notice I was humming the theme soundtrack from the Michael Meyers movie series all along..

Great dog park! There's an area for small dogs and for big dogs. Plenty of benches and some shaded areas. Both sections have a doggie water fountain. There is parking on the street, but also a small lot of parking behind the park. Our pup had a great time!

Del Monte night soccer games are "pick-up" but the groups that show up consistently are more or less the same people. Some of the players play for actual teams elsewhere. Among the players there are 3 young coaches who come typically some Wednesdays to play for fun. Experienced players and coaches can give you better guidance than I can. Best of luck!

Good question. We use the soccer field from 8pm-10pm, and the restrooms are usually closed before 8pm. Only seen them open twice during 3 months of games.
