I been here for like 1 year and a half some of the staff work hard to go above and beyond to help the clients, but it's just so much you can do for someone who acts or pretends to want help by not following rules and doing a little self help so as far as this location with my experience that. I'm still experiencing I wouldn't want to be in the hands of any other agency!!

Well, John c. Gill.. if you come to New York city you will not be homeless... as soon as you fill out paperwork for a shelter they will send you to a quarantine shelter for a few days. Room to yourself. Then once the right tests come back you will be sent to an assessment shelter... this is where they determine what kind of help do u need. Make sure u answer those questions carefully.. you don't want to be shipped to a crazy mad house.. tell them you want to be in the ready willing and able program. There are 3 of them and they are the top of the line when it comes to help out there... if you mess up ur stay there by using, fighting, excreta, then you will be moved to a shelter that's not as good... ready willing and able is great tho. I highly recommend it. They help with everything from food, housing, work, schooling, licensing. They do it all...

In project renewal they don't do housing referrals but come to 8 east 3 street to the out patient ask for trc do the intake and take it from there they also have a crisis center where you can stay for a few weeks my name is Angel I'm a client here good luck buddy...
