Only go here if you know you want real Japanese goods. (Yes, some are made other places, but they're often ones that would be from those places in grocery stores in Japan.) Not cheap, but not really overpriced. Pretty decent takeout snacks like riceballs.

If you’re into Japanese culture and food - this place is heaven sent for you. They have literally everything you could imagine from food to clothing to personal care products and toys. Got a nice egg sandwich which had cucumbers and was freshly made. They have a little bakery on the side too which is separate.

Great store, fresh sushi, great packaged lunches. The produce it excellent, small selection but they have everything! Wonderful japanese food, snacks, drinks, beer and spirits. They have it all!

I've seen Taro Brand frozen poi at the location in Gardena
Sanitizer hand gel provided at the door, mask and social distancing required, shopping cart and baskets sanitized for customer use. Employees wear masks and gloves, employees required handwashing, plastic partitions at the checkout stands.
On their website it says senior citizens 65 and older priority shopping hours 8am-9am. I'm assuming that's everyday. Or you can call the location to confirm.
