Beautiful view from the top! The hike isn't too bad, a few rocky spots but the incline is fairly moderate the entire time. Don't expect too much flat on the way in or out as it's a slight incline most of the way. The summit view is amazing, and it's great to relax by the pond.

I like driving up from Queensbury after work and running up the Bump Pond route and back down the other way. Toward the bottom there are a lot of small rocks, but fun. There are wet spots here and there. No one was on the trail AT ALL. You Park up top or drive all the way into the trailhead. No rock climbing right now because Perugine falcons are nesting.

There is a beautiful pond off of this trail. It's called bumps pond but I'm not sure if there's a cave there. You might want to research bumps pond and see if there's a cave there. Also not too far from the beginning of this trail on the same road there is another short trail to a waterfall. even if this isn't the trail you and your brother did a long time ago. This trail is wonderful and the summit is outstanding. When you get to the summit you have this large rocky area and the views are awesome. The pond is beautiful and this place will give you and your brother new memories. Don't miss this trial you won't be sorry.
