I liked this trail loop. Hiking on a Monday, very quiet. Enjoyed some of the views and amazing rock on green trail. I only got confused on the red trail near the power lines, so got to pay attention. Will come back later in the fall.

Absolutely love this place and the trails are perfectly marked, it is also listed on All Trails in case you're a beginner so you basically will never get lost. My hound LOVES it here. There are trails for beginners, intermediate, and advanced hikers and the view, WOW. Super dog friendly people who come here too so Leia made a couple friends along our hike. 10 out of 10 :)

Many a time have I visited this place, and in those many visits I have always found myself enjoying the hike and the views from Mercer lookout. This is a place where you can spend a nice fall morning breathing the fresh fall air and basking in the warmth of the late year sun. I would highly recommend brining a pair of binoculars to the lookout in order to fully enjoy the view from that point. I will always love this place and expect to wander back here for many years to come.

There are a few trails in there, you can make it short or long, we do a few different trails and have made it into a 5 mile hike.

Wolf Hill is a great place for hiking and nature watching. There are many other parks in the area well suited for picnics as you describe. Deerfield Park may be a good choice.

Is there a place to have a family picnic post graduation at Bryant

No. Wolf Hill is completely primitive.

Are there picnic tables at the trail head if you wanted to sit and have lunch?

Correct... The only picnic tables if any may be at the parking lot before you head to the trail
