This is a wonderful place to walk or ride a horse in the middle of the city. There seems to be endless miles to walk or ride and all of it, in nature, that feels so detached from the city. The terrain can be easy or physical depending on your choice to walk. A couple warnings, don't go alone unless you are very capable. Also, if you don't have a very good sense of direction, use a gps or other mapping app while you explore this true gem.

Very pleasant walk. Sandy trails topped with pine needles. Awesome for dogs off leash. There is some horse traffic. Very confusing extensive network of trails. Used navigation to stay on track. Could be better marked.

I would not recommend it. You will be working very hard in the sandy areas and I doubt the ride will be enjoyable for your child in the areas with exposed tree roots. Also, if you do not know where you are going, you can very quickly find yourself in a narrow, hilly stretch of trail that cannot be navigated with a stroller.
