BEWARE of Petco rewards program. I buy 22.5 bags of Orijen dog food 2X a week. Each time I accumulate just enough points to getting a free bag of dog food, they reset my points to “0”. The 8th is free. My points are reset once I get to 5. I took all of my receipts to the store so they could confirm my purchases. They call customer service and customer service gave me a $5.00 reward in place of my free $100 bag of dog food (what a joke). This has happened to me twice. Now I shop elsewhere. Also beware of Vital Care. In fine print it states you have to commit to Vital Care for 1 year. They don’t tell you that when you sign up.

I’m kind of frustrated that they push guinea pig so hard and always have so many of them in the store. But when you try to return one or just want to give it back they won’t accept them because everybody tries to return guinea pigs, guinea pigs are literally the worst pets available. Why do pet stores keep pushing them anyway? Besides that I think that Petco is a great store.

Waited for 20 minutes for assistance. No staff in sight. Finally someone came over to ask if I needed help and I said I did...said they would page someone for me. 15 minutes later, still no help. I left the store without purchasing and went elsewhere. There was only 1 other customer in the store.

Petco is a hunane store. They do not and will not sell/insert animal chips, sell shock collars, and anything else that will put harm to the animals.

I do not believe they have anything there for that. I would recommend taking it to the vet to make sure it is an eye infection. And they should be able to give you meds for that.

Dont know of any pet stores that purchase animals from the public. If your trying to sell puppies then sell on Craigslist
