I haven’t even lived here for a year yet and we’ve had roaches everywhere. They come and spray and it does nothing. The flooring isn’t even in the living room. My tv stand was literally leaning forward the day I moved in. The fridge leaks randomly. We’ve been here since March and haven’t received the gym fob yet. The pool is always being closed every other day. It has been closed for like 3 weeks now. I can hear when my neighbor leaves their apartment from my bedroom. The apartment itself is just not worth the money. Maintenance is okay. Even though one guy said he’d be by Monday to fix something and never showed.

Upon doing the walkthrough of the apartment I advise to agent that there were some issues with apartment, such as bathroom shower rail broken, brown stains on the ceiling above the kitchen. I asked be fixed prior to moving in and was giving a call by the property manager that told me the unit was ready. I took possession of the property on a Monday and found a roach crawling in my kitchen on that afternoon, I called the office and asked for pest control before moving any of my items into the location I was told I would have pest control come in on Friday I was due to move my items into the unit on following Monday upon my surprise Friday comes and goes and no pest control when calling the office about the concern I was advised I was never on the list and that they would have someone come out on that Monday prior to me moved my items in I delayed my move and until Tuesday where as though no one showed up on Monday and I had no other choice to move items in it is now Wednesday June 22nd I'm not only not have pest control come in the brown stains of my celery and getting worse as if there's a current leak and I just found another roach this time nice big black water bug in my kitchen amongst all the items I moved in. I'm being charged for a renovated unit although the refrigerator in the unit is not new the stove has been staying and repainted and because the cabinets are whites and even though they are staying probably by previous tenant I'm still being charged the full renovating unit price.

My experience here was pretty pleasant. Very quiet environment. I usually work late but I always felt safe. The first few weeks were challenging as I had carbon monoxide device issues continuously. I had several replacements done as the alarm would go off daily. The fire dept checked several times but nothing was found. It was never rectified so I just kept it off the wall completely. I appreciated the office keeping the the grounds up-kept whether it was cleaning leaves, trash or ensuring cars weren’t inoperable. The windows and doors however aren’t great at insulating so it gets really hot or cold due to weather no matter what the home temp is on. (I stayed on the 3rd floor) Other than that, would recommend!

Update 1/22/22 - We tried to reach out to your office after receiving your reply but the phone kept going to the voice-mail. I left my number and I can't wait to speak with you. My mother just moved into this apartment. There was mold in her previous house which called for an emergency move. She was so excited that she found The Falls at Sope Creek until the games started. First, we both spoke with the rental agent (Nice guy) and expressed that my mother has to have knee surgery on both knees and can't go up and down steps often. Well we were told that her apartment would have no steps and she could walk straight in, that was a lie. They kept switching up apartments even after receiving her money. My mother has no pets and no roommates willingly, but is being forced to live with the ROACHES of The Falls at Sope Creek! Her previous landlord will testify that she had absolutely no bugs at her previous home. These roaches belong to The Falls at Sope Creek. We've tried to get rid of them multiple times and they tried once, she's still greeted with them in the middle of the night. Second, Every other night my almost 60 year old mom who needs knee surgery has to hope not to fall on the rainfall of water in her kitchen from the leaks pouring down from neighbors simply washing their clothes or dishes. Third, she has to almost lay down on the floor to use the restroom, that's how low the toilet is. How can you do this to a 60 year old person? You can still get our money, just please move her to a more sanitary apartment with no steps, no roaches and no leaks please. She's been back and forth to the office respectfully speaking with the office staff and Management. They won't listen to my mother, so I'm hoping our next steps with social media, someone at the housing authority or the Americans with Disabilities association can help us. We really don't know what to do from here. Someone please help!
