i was in here a few months ago and had to come in 3 times in a row to finally get answers, they rushed me out everytime, the last time i was in the waiting room for 6 hours. in the worst pain of my life just to find out i had a uti which was tested the first time i came there and they told me it was negative!! it had gotten so bad i could barely stand up!! they also asked if i was sure i wasn’t pregnant about 6 times. the nurse who gave me my iv and fluids was so incredibly rude! i wish i got her name i asked what she was giving me and what for and she stated this long name like i knew what that was going to be for. so i asked again and she rolled her eyes. i tried making conversation because i was incredibly uncomfortable and she always responded rudely and i have really bad anxiety so having a nurse treat me like that was scary! she made me cry i was only 18 so it was my first time being in the hospital by myself and they wouldn’t let my grandma in with me so i was in the room crying trying to be nice to this lady. DONT GO HERE

Hands down the BEST emergency department! Everyone was very kind, understanding and non-judgmental. They took their time with me and throughly explained everything. Very polite and patient. I wish I could give 10 stars.

No one knows what they are doing

Nursing staff is great but beware Dr. Yarbrough. He's not listed as a Dr. On their website but was "working" at the port orange location. How can an EKG be done in one second and not even be on our paperwork? And why would a patient with disorientation be asked to sign waivers and agreements to go to mediation before contacting media or legal avenues regarding their care? Waste of time and no care was provided.

Yes. But without a primary care physician or insurance you most likely can expect no treatment for a diagnosed severe chronic pain
You can just come into the emergency room, check in and get your sutures taken out.
Yes
Hospitals don't have want times listed, noone knows when a patient is going to get better or if a dire emergency is about to happen. Let me know when you find a hospital that'll tell you an accurate wait time.
Yes
Try our Port Orange Emergency Department or Halifax Health-Urgent Care, 775 W. Granada Blvd. #102, in Ormond Beach.
Halifax Emergency is the best....it may be too late to cast your wrist but I would go....at least they will X-ray it & you will know precisely what's the injury & they will likely give you something to ease your pain. I wouldn't wait at the later in the evening it gets, the busier the Emergency Dept is. Best of Luck!
If you go to the ER they will tell you to go see a gynecologist.
They do not do tooth extractions but will treat you for any infection you might have.
Yes you can
As it is her husband it does apply in this situation. I do know and understand HIPPA.
Yes
I don't think they do actual physicals here.
Yes they do have the resources to do that
A section of the hospital at the Daytona site.
Not at this facility.
Michael I had a bad experience here 2 years ago with a blatantly unprofessional and idiot dr who stabbed me 18 times to get IV. But the last several times I've gone I was well cared for & treated respectfully. Unfortunately, idiots are everywhere...these people need to find a job somewhere else. Sorry for your bad experience. Hateful when you are sick & have to deal with unprofessional people👎
