i also have been told strangers are allowed on my property to steal, and they can only do something if they’re still there when they arrive.. i tried to call to talk about my case and for two hours i was met with voicemails in every department.. protect and serve our fellow rich white men right?? the person on my property literally drove a car drunk to leave my property and they still refused to go after him

I love this PD! Community oriented and care for the citizens. One of the safest cities in all of Florida and definitely the best around here.

Fantastic Department. Goes above and beyond! I truly appreciate the assistance given by their Detective’s. Plus, great posts on FB guys, keep up the good work. Don’t mind those negative reviews on here. These days, most complainers are anti-police and whiners, who probably never really dealt with you all. They don’t understand the self sacrifice it takes to serve in any capacity.

Is Springwood sq townhouses off Jackson st a quiet safe place to live?
I moved to California and yes I see the difference. PO is a great place to live but values mission statements and vision do not align.
Depends on local ordinance. I know Daytona used to police "solicitors" as far back as mid 1950s. Check with local City Hall folks who should know/have the answer.
Had to alert the Sheriff's Office here in Volusia Co. unincorporated. Hoped to get a 10 or 15 MPH limit, however, Volusia County put up a 25 MPH instead. May require asking Volusia County councilman in our district to get the 10 or 15 MPH limit ? Yet to ask them. Probable that a P.O. city councilman ought to help get the job done ? Hope that helps ?
Yes.
You can. The PD lobby is closed, but you can use the phone in the entrance way to call dispatch and request an officer. If you have already left, and live in the city, call the non-emergency number and request an officer respond.

Well there is always a chance the officer believes you are suspicious. To my knowledge a police man has to have a legitimate reason to pull you over. Could be he's seen you do something illegal or reckless when off duty. NTL, what are the chances he/she could make up some sort of excuse ? But such police tactics are unknown and depend on a particular officer's personality.
