That is the place to go instead of hiring someone to clean out the garage for you and taking it away save some money clean it out yourself and take it to this place nice and clean do not smell and the gentleman's out there to direct and help you were gentlemen thank you

It's actually a trash transfer station. They are open Wednesdays and Saturdays from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. (The landfill in Tavares is open every day) Only Lake County residents can dump there, but it is free. I went there with yard waste, which you can just dump into the field. Other types of waste have to be put into dumpsters. They also accept hazardous waste like motor oil, old paint, chemicals, and tv's/electronics. The people working there were very nice and it is easy getting in and out. * I went a couple of weeks later with a water heater, and they told me they could not take it because it was considered construction material. They told me to call Lake County, which I did, and a truck was sent on bulk pickup day to take it from the side of the road in front of my house.

Yes very helpful there everything is named on the dumpster that you put it in and it's clean out there and it doesn't smell
Yard waste, household waste, and hazardous waste like used motor oil and paint and electronics. No construction materials like water heaters or remodeling waste. Yard trimmings you just dump in the field. Household waste you have to put into dumpsters.
