We take the health of dogs very seriously. Dogs are required to be up to date on Bordetella, Distemper, Lepto & Rabies. To limit the spread of disease, please do not come in contact with dogs outside the home for a period of two weeks prior to coming in to our facility. (If vaccines are still needed, we request curbside service at the vet)

Dogs mature at different rates. On average, puppies have to be at least 13-15 weeks old before we can do any training. We require they are a week out from their second round of puppy shots. Dogs are required to be up to date on Bordetella, Distemper, Lepto & Rabies.

Dog parks are not for everyone. We recommend socializing your dog with dogs you know and trust. You should always supervise play and make sure both dogs are playing nicely together. Always have your new dog meet on neutral territory such as on a walk around your neighborhood.

We board for our training clients. We have limited availability so make your reservations early, especially for Holiday boarding. We do require up-to-date vaccine records. In order to keep spread of disease limited, we also require your dog has not been in contact with other dogs outside the home for 2 weeks prior to coming in.

At Unleash Fido, we partner with you and teach the best techniques to help your dog understand what you are asking of them. Remember, they do not speak our language, so we need to teach them in a way they understand. We are a balanced dog training company that loves to give praise, belly rubs, and treats while teaching the appropriate desired behaviors.

Your dog has not learned to self-soothe and does not know how to exhibit the expected behaviors. Through our hands-on training programs, we can teach how to have a well-bahaved, calm and polite, enjoyable to walk dog.

They were never taught to walk correctly. A walk should be enjoyable for both you and your dog. No one wants to walk an unruly dog. They must be taught that their behavior is unacceptable and trained on the correct way to walk.

Dogs need to be taught the correct behavior, and those behaviors need to be reinforced. . Dogs want to make their owners happy, but they often don’t understand what you are asking from them. At Unleash Fido, we train your dog in a language they understand.

Absolutely NOT! Dogs live in the moment. They do not dwell on the past nor do they worry about the future. Older dogs may have developed bad habits that need to be resolved and Unleash Fido can teach your old dog some new tricks.

We need the dog, a flat collar, a bag of dog food, and up-to-date vaccine records. We do offer medication administration if needed. If your dog has special dietary needs, owners may bring in special treats. We provided everything else that is needed. In order to keep the spread of disease limited, we also require your dog has not been in contact with other dogs outside the home for 2 weeks prior to coming in.
