Rented a couple jet skis for my kids birthdays.... was the most fun I've had in years. Wasn't cheap, but wasn't outrageously expensive either. Could have blown way more to stand in line at Disney all day, but instead spent an hour on the water with my kids having a great time and doing something we'll still talk about 10 years from now. Highly recommend.

This place is pretty decent. I wasn't happy about the price. I usually go to Woodys, down the boardwalk from them, and pay almost 30$less. Woodys wouldnt let anyone go out because of the weather. Nonetheless, they did have brand new, 2 week old skiis and they had plenty. So we pay our money and get an extremely quick crash course. I am a frequent flyer, but my guests were not. I feel they WAY under prepared them. Luckily I had already given them a proper lesson on safety and how a jet ski works and operates. This place didn't and it's especially important on a day when the weather was kicking up 2-3 waves in the Gulf. For this reason, I asked if we could stay in the intercoastal so my guests could enjoy themselves and I didn't beat myself up too bad. I was told there were too many boars for us to go into the intercoastal. So we had to go out in the Gulf and get pummeled with huge waves. I got the ski out of the water on 80% of the waves. It was rough, and my guests were on as doubles, so that makes everything harder. There wasn't a moment that we could ride over 30mph and that was really dissapointing. I'm extremely loyal to companies but because they have a large inventory of brand new skiis, I may have switched from Woodies where I bring a TON of people per year if: •safety were addressed and explained to customers. •when asked if we could go into the intercoastal for our safety and enjoyment, we should have been allowed. This one really upsets me the most because we didn't enjoy ourselves. •the staff explained the principals of how a jet ski works (ex.you can only turn when throttling, should get on from the back). •the staff was a bit more customer service based and friendly rather than getting as many people on the skiis as fast as possible. •perhaps care about and monitor weather conditions and when its bad either shut down, or at least try to dissuade people by explaining 2-3' seas and you may have a bad time. For those reasons, I'll continue to go to Woodys and if they say it's too rough to go out, I will believe them and reschedule.

The minimum age to operate a PWC is 14, as per Florida boating laws. They will need to take a boaters safety course online and get a certificate from the FWC.
You have to be 16 to be on one by yourself. If accompanied by an adult you can drive.
