Most awful company in town, In one winter, they shut off electricity to one of my tenants for un-pay electricity bill about $450( a military family), so all the water pipes went into frozen, when January came, the frozen pipe thawed, and pipes bursted in 26 locations, the water simply jetted from all directions flooded the crowel space, berried the water main. they turned the electricity back on while tenants paid the bill. The gas was on too, they created such extremely dangerous situation, they could kill someone . When we called, the customer service person said this was their standard procedure for none pays. the voice from the person was calloused and indifferent. They could kill some one for $450? They could find us, but paperwork disappeared when website changed. By the way I was told houses got destroyed like this every winter. I would gave them negative if I could!

Had auto pay for over 4 hrs. Updated credit card information and AUTOPAY is on - so I figure it’s done. Today, I get a delinquent notice. Go online and check account and sure enough, correct credit card and is scheduled to pay on 4 Sept. Called the office and gal at other end- “ yes. It sometimes does that when you change credit card information. Just cancel the next payment and pay entire bill today, along with $3 late fee”. Seems to me, from a consumer point of view, there is a problem with their system. Not worth fighting with her for $3. It’s a monopoly- what choice does anybody have.

My power was shut off with no warning. No bill telling me I'm over due. No phone call. Nothing. Then they want to charge 40 dollars to turn it back on. What a joke of a business.

Yes on Dailey Avenue
CEA bought MLP
The sale was approved by Anchorage voters in 2018, and the transaction closes on Oct. 30. Chugach will begin providing electric service to former ML&P customers then. ML&P customers will get a welcome brochure and a member application in the mail. You will also be able to log on and fill out the application on our website starting on Nov. 4. Right now you can take a look at the frequently asked questions at www.chugachelectric.com/powering-anchorage-together
Go to there website and select outages. Should be some information there
Call Chugach electric
Not Chugach's service area, call MEA.
There website has an interactive map that will show you
