Excellent check-in. Very proficient nurse and doctor staff. really took great care of me.

Just had a total knee replacement surgery here on Monday, and I was very apprehensive since I haven't been to Memorial Hospital in 20 years. The care was absolutely exceptional. From check in, pre op, post op and physical therapy joint camp. The fourth floor nursing staff was a great team. Even down to the cafeteria staff. They found out that I had a gluten allergy and were beyond accommodating. There's so many names I'd love to mention... Marie and Achamma in nursing, the resident nurses, the physical therapists: Alyssa, Caitlin, Jordan and Ian. I know I'm forgetting some people but everyone showed me how care should be. Thank you.

Employees warm and friendly also caring. Just a wonderful place to experience.

Excellent, need I say more.

Not if you're a patient. Oh, you get choices all right...between bad food and worse food. Trust me. Unfortunately due to a lengthy illness, I have spent plenty of time in Jacksonville hospitals. Easily, Memorial and Shands have the worst patient food. Mayo, St Vincent's and Baptist Beaches have the best.
Yes. They are all placed on one floor.
Thank you for your inquiry, Varsh. We have a pediatric Emergency Room available in our hospital that is located adjacent to our adult Emergency Room.
From what I saw when I was transferred in ambulance they had over 3 officers with the inmate and outside of the room.
Never consulted one. Sorry.
For security (for everyone inside/outside the hospital) they ask for a valid government identification. This is whether hospital is open or closed.
Alive credit union
Just like anyplace, anything is available for a price
I agree with Mr. Roberts. I had a bowel resection on September 25th and while I was connected to a PCA, the amount of dilaudid released with every push of the button was miniscule and provided no pain relief.
After a certain time, you have to check in with security, but you're allowed.
You should contact/communicate with your doctor, if your condition worsens, use an urgent care clinic or visit the emergency department.
Not to my knowledge
Thats a good question. Each hospital is different
If anyone speaks Spanish
I'm not sure if you can make one for the emergency room, but they have an app called MyHealthONE that let's you "pre-register" for an appointment. It may be worth checking out.
Well, my children are all grown. I didn't have them in here. But my oldest daughter had my granddaughter there and it was very good. We were very satisfied.
By the elevator or by the stairs.
Inger, yes, we have an Administrator On Call (AOC) 24/7, 365.
The regulations have changed recently so I am not quite sure of all the requirements but you may be able to call and see if they are still a patient. They won't give you any other information. Or if you have the patient pin #, they can give you a little more info. Just try calling and asking the hospital information first.
I thought nurses might help. I would ask his nurse directly.
You should call them tomorrow during the day.
Hello Jomol, thank you for your inquiry. You can visit our website, www.MemorialHospitalJax.com and click on "Careers" (located in the green bar at the top of the page).
Visiting hours for the hospital: 9a-6p. One visitor per patient at this time.
8am-8pm
Hello Sherry, yes we are providers for Humana PPO. Thank you for your question.
That I am not sure of Memorial, but I know for sure that Baptist downtown does.
I had outpatient surgery there and was very happy with the service. The hospital was clean. Everything was well organized. Check in was very easy and simple.
Yes you call the hospital main line and they will direct you to the proper area
Don't think so.
Outside food, I don't see why not. Staff does it all the time. It all depends on the patient's diet plan.
The provided food is for the patient, but there is a cafeteria where a family member can get food.
I don't have a need
Dont know they do it at bedside
Don't know! Google search the main office's number, and they'll transfer you.
The gift shop has a good amount of flowers I don't think they have a florist

Check with the personnel office
Wow jerk. If thats how ur family was treated u'd wanna know
Google the prices online. Look under Memorial Hospital: pricing
I'm not Memorial hospital
You’ll probably develop an infection from the lackadaisical D- nurses they employee
Ask your doc to ask for them for you or the hospital will charge you for the same info. But if you call the hospital they will tell you where to go to get that info.
Call records at memorial let them know you need a copy of your exrays and they will put it on a disc for you
For my daughter 20 minutes visit to emergency room, I received a bill of 4800 USD...
