This review is for this branch only. I went in to have my trust paperwork notarized and then to open the account in the trust name. I cannot remember the employee's name but she flat out refused to notarize my document. She said they "don't notarize legal documents". Aren't most documents needing notarization legal documents? Then I went to speak with the manager, Danielle Clark, who asked why I didn't have the lawyer who wrote the document notarize it for me? Are you kidding me? Either your policy is you notarize or you don't, which is it? The only thing a notary does is ensure the person signing is actually the person signing -- that's it. I called the area manager who contacted the branch manager to understand why they refused to notarize my document and, thereby, refused to open an account for me. The branch manager flat out lied to the area manager and said I didn't have the entire document and they felt 'uncomfortable' notarizing it. I explained I, indeed, had the entire document because I needed the entire document to open a savings and checking account. How could I have subsequently opened an account if I didn't have the document after getting it notarized? I literally had two checks in my hands totaling several hundred thousand dollars from the sale of my house and they're acting as though I'm laundering money or something. Do you WANT my money or not because this is not how you interact with customers. Shameful behavior on the part of the teller/account specialist and even more so by the branch manager, Danielle Clark. I left and went to another branch another day. Instead of acting as though I was a criminal laundering money, the branch manager asked if we wanted a coffee or water when she saw how much I was depositing into their bank!

I opened a business account in 2018. Have been generally satisfied until now. For days I have been unable to get anyone to answer the telephone at my local branch. When are they going to open the lobby. This is NOT legendary customer service.

I would say go to a drive thru at your local branch. That is what my business partner and I do.
