Pleasant trails (somewhat muddy so choose appropriate footwear) were wide and offered a variety of routes with views of rocks, forest, wetlands and a small lake. Lots of families and pets.

A nice little place to walk and enjoy some nature scenery. Additionally, the rock garden is a very cool feature. A little small but a nice place overall. I think it would be enjoyable to fish here. Get out and have a pleasant nature walk!

A perfect peaceful place to walk and explore, so many black squirrels jumping and walking around, the place is nice and relaxing.

Seriously such a good find!! We have needed a place like this in MI, since all our hiking and rock adventures in Colorado. So glad to have this place near home for my boys to run, climb and play with/on rocks. They loved the hiking trails …

Renee, shouldn't she contact Southfield?
Fishing is available. Not really wheelchair friendly. Majority of paths are not paved.
Yes you can people fish all the time at carpenter lk
I've fished there a couple years back last year and this year, and have caught nothing unfortunately. But last year and this year Southfield parks and rec have stocked it 50 Large mouth bass and 200 blue gill both years, there are also good sized cat fish i saw 1 guy pull it out but i still haven't caught any bass yet. They're in there but the pond is slowly being brought back to life. Main problem is there are few access points to fish. Just the platform and the dam publicly. other than that everything else is through the brush, not to bad though just have too slide down the hill to get to em. GOOD LUCK! catch the bass i couldn't catch and let me know where he was hiding.
Yes. People fish all times of the year as long as the lake is not frozen.
Yes, I've seen people fishing, I've seen bass jumping in lake as well. At least I think it's bass.
Bass, blue gill , catfish
I see some people fishing .there's a board post the things that the lake has. Take a look around even if don't find what you looking for I'm sure you will love the sincerity around you especially at this time of the year when the leaves start falling bring family or friends. And check out the big stones .
Don't think so. Only at city parks like pebble Creek etc
About 20-25 mins
Boulders are made of rock
Ten to twelve people are ok on the deck. There are benches near the deck, not on the deck. You need a state fishing license to fish here.
Sure, there are Painted and Snappers that ive seen. Nothing huge or even really accessible, but you can spot them in the water.
Bikes are not permitted according to rules posted at the entrance. It is intended to be walking trails, no bikes.
