I called our pediatrician and was told my kids couldn't be seen until a week later, so we decided to go to an urgent care. After visiting 2 urgent cares with my 2 children before going to FastMed, I was already beside myself. Upon pulling up, it definitely doesnt look like a doctor's office and honestly a little sketchy. I was told the first UC doesn't see children. Second UC didn't accept medicaid. When I walked up to the desk at this urgent care, I explained what was going on. There must be something about the front desk employees at urgent cares, but they are lacking beside manner. They say they accept my kid's insurance and can see children. 2 boxes checked off.. After explaining the symptoms for the 3rd time this morning, she checks with the provider before my kids are seen. They said I need to go the ER where imaging can be done on my 4 year old (he had bloody stools). So, after running all over Raleigh for an hour and half, I'm told I need to go to the ER. We have now been at the ER for 4 hours and no exam or "imaging" was needed. The doctor told us what the urgent care could have told us if they had heard ALL of the symptoms. An internal hemorrhoid. After missing a day's work, being at the ER over half the day, needless to say I'm fit to be tied. And this could've been solved at the urgent care.

The staff was sweet but, as in most healthcare offices, they were understaffed and overworked.

Easy to make appointments! Doctors know how to make patients feel safe.

Would honestly give a 0. Usually go to this location and been helped a lot but yesterday was ridiculous. This lady didn’t bother to test me for anything and came back w the worst possibility, monkeypox. How she reacted made me feel like I had sum very serious. Referenced me to go sum where else which refused to take me bc they weren’t an urgent care. I went to wake med and they were honestly shocked by my experience. As soon I told my symptoms they already had idea of what I had, turns out it was only folliculitis. Tbh jus go to a hospital rather than this place, a hospital will treat and diagnose u properly
