I was unemployed April-December 2021. They host various programs-including "going places network". The 1st session (raleigh) was awesome. However, that has since gone down hill. I decided to enroll for Durham & didn't even make it half way under that session. Why would I be required to know & respond to interview questions and at the same time hear about others accepted into major companies(UNC, Deliotte) without answering interview questions at all. I even had an online D4S account—no help. I was not equally treated in accordance to others from both Raleigh, Durham nor felt as if my opinion nor appearance mattered. I haven't received any significant support other than getting clothes. I just dropped any and all services with this company and headed over to NCWorks

Thanks so much to Sarah and Catherine and Company. EVERYONE is so nice and helpful and INcouraging! I really INjoyed the process of getting (fitted and) Dressed for Success. I'm so excited to go to work, fancy and cute! I really Really REALLY appreciate everything. I felt just like Vivian, when Edward took her shopping! in Pretty Woman! Even when leaving with my 2! shopping bags, I felt like: I have to go shopping now! (Vivian's "The Come Up" scene! Lol) They dressed me a year ago with one outfit for an interview (and some black slacks to compliment the uniform shirt of the grocery store job that I had at the time. But the job I acquired, after the grocery store, was a warehouse job; so I didn't really need anything.. business professional... But a year later, I acquired another job. This one more in the forefront and managerial! So I gave them another SOS call and they answered, with no questions asked! Actually getting the job (vs. interviewing) gets you 10! pieces!!!! 😭 Dress for Success is certainly a wonderful program and concept. I had two professional outfits when I interviewed for my new job. I wore one outfit to my first interview; and I wore the second one to my second interview......... Looking forward to working as many days as possible, what's a woman to do? Call Dress for Success! They also offer other "get the job" related services- like resume writing and networking events. It's a great organization to give to, if you have it, and to receive from, if you're looking forward to having it! Thank you Dress for Success! 💥‼️

Great customer experience! I recently took my mom to the sale in Durham. It was her first time out since covid and the lady was so nice to her. She is recovering from cancer surgery and on oxygen. The lady went and got a chair for her and helped her to the back so she could take her time. She was awesome. She really brought me to tears. I was so touched by her that I'm ashamed to say I forgot her name. However, I will go to the sale in Raleigh and look for her. Her kindness and patience can never be repaid. I thank her from the bottom of my heart and I hope she receives her kindness back ten fold. Coming from a retail management background I can honestly say people like her are a rare find! Thank you so very much. I hope you are the person taking the holds in Raleigh!

GREAT organization and GREAT staff!!! The inventory is high quality, shoes, jewelry and dresses. Great deals on the jewelry and one of the largest selections. I love to go there every time they have a sale. I get up early for their sales. I can't wait for the next event.

There's a sign on their door that says that you can drop boxes of clothes by on certain dates only. The next one is this Friday, Dec. 17th. Boxes have to be sealed cardboard boxes with "Dress for Success" printed on outside of box. I THINK it said something about you can leave your name and info. inside the box if you need a receipt. Not certain about that receipt part.
