CLI Prison Alliance is a Christian ministry that provides Bibles and donated Christian based books to prisons across all 50 states. They also offer Bible study lessons to those individuals who apply for it. I volunteer once a week stuffing envelopes with new Bible study lessons. Couple years ago, the heaviest day had about a hundred participants. Yesterday, I I packed 271 envelopes! And that's just one day! I'm not sure what the weekly total is. Prison inmates are looking for alternatives to the life they have led. We offer hope and support. Go to CLI Prison Alliance website and read the testimonials from the participants themselves. Then find out how you can support them and make a positive impact on their lives.

Questions & Answers

How does a prisoner enroll in the bible studies? I have looked on the website and cannot find that.

A prisoner only needs to write a letter to CLI and it will be answered with a personal letter from one of our letter ministers along with an application to enroll in the Bible Studies. That’s it! I’m so glad you reached out to us.

How can I have Life Recovery Bibles be donated to my Jail ministry? I am a Chaplain & Pastor of Logos Speaks Life Ministry and I go into the jails and I am CPE trained to do hospice care. The women in the Clayton Jail have asked me for them.

Cheryl, thank you for your ministry and heart for the imprisoned. We received donated materials and send them to the prison chaplains. Unfortunately, we do not have access to specific books and Bibles, only what is donated to us.
