This is THE WORSE organization ever! Do not trust or believe that they have your best interest.... They only care about certain tenants, and will kick you out based on what is told to them instead of researching the facts. Their housing specialist is unprofessional, and messy, and she has told a lot of the tenants business.... While the other staff view issues as jokes, sit , laugh, and talk about the issues instead of helping the issues to get resolved. This place is for people with disabilities, the entire staff do not care about what is going on with you, they will do the minimum to assist any issue at hand.... Why it is best to get a attorney if any issue arise ....they work off of here say, pick and choose who they want to assist.

I give Casa a 1, the apartments they own down here all look raggedy. They need to remodel these apartments. Just terrible

I'm just hoping and Praying that a place for me and my son come through soon , I did a application 3 to 4 years ago and I know it's gonna take a long time which I'm gonna be patient. I'm in a women and children program I started here September 24 2020 and this past June on the 24 made my 9 month mark since it's only a 9 month program. We are still here but no good hope here. Casa is the only friendly place I called that understood me and I just hope I get a spot here!

What does what does a one bedroom go for

Thomas Ware | Jun 16, 2022
CASA | Jun 16, 2022

Hi Thomas! Thanks for asking. CASA housing is affordable housing, and we charge residents 30% of their income on rent no matter what their income level is. The rent on a one bedroom is different for everybody, but we make sure its affordable. To learn more about our mission to end homelessness visit our website at www.casanc.org

What does the applicant pool mean? does it mean you about to get a place with casa

Cathy Bunch | Sep 15, 2019
CASA | Sep 15, 2019

Great question. Our applicant pool is a collection of people who have preliminarily qualified for our supportive housing for people with disabilities. To join the applicant pool you need to turn in part one of the supportive application, which you can find on our website or in our office. Then, when an apartment is available, we’ll contact people in the pool who qualify for that particular unit and invite them to complete part two of the application. It can feel complicated! Call us or come in to learn more.

Do Casa still have a home ownership program. If yes is it possible for someone on disability to qualify

David Martin | Sep 15, 2019
CASA | Sep 15, 2019

Hi David. CASA housing is 100% rental housing, so we don't have a homeownership program.

I have two homeless friends that possible need a roof over their head for little bit how possible is it for them to get one.
