Caring professionals (1 who’s cared for my skin & its many pre-cancerous changes over the years, & 1 a PA who is joining the practice) removed several small biopsies from a large swollen sore with exudate I developed on my forehead after my last liquid nitrogen. Their calming comments as they worked helped me stay calm, of course along with the numbing medication. I return in 2 weeks to have the stitches removed & hopefully for some answers.

They offer two methods: freezing (nitrogen), or burning (electric needle). Either process is covered by insurance. What is not covered is a chemical peel, which is sometimes used to fade scars after either process is used over large area, such as your back, your chest or your neck. Some people have dozens and dozens of tags or moles that need removal. Think what is cosmetic and what is needed. Tags and moles can turn into skin cancer, so removing them is part of a healthy overall regimen. Anything done only to LOOK better, would not be covered. Hope that answers your questions.
