The staff there is very courteous and helpful. I had not been there for some time. I was purchasing some food for a member of my congregation and her family who keep kosher and were mourning the loss of a husband/father/grandfather. I cannot stop raving about the selection and how neat and clean the store was. The family was overjoyed with the selection of food I brought them as they live in Brookline and shop at the Butcherie. I too was impressed and will certainly make it my business to patronize the store whenever I am in Brookline.

This store has very limited parking in the back. There are checkout registers in front and back. It's crowded on Sunday, even early, though it seems a lot of people arrive by foot and buy fairly limited amounts.

Great store! Friendly, helpful staff. They have everything you would need if you keep kosher. Their in-house specialties are amazing. The store is crowded but clean and well-stocked. The only drawback is the high prices, which is pretty typical of kosher food.

KVH vaad of ma. Yes they carry those brands.
Highly recommend! They have the hand grated style as well as the more smooth consistency, in multiple sizes. They also may have veggie latkes currently!

They definitely have beef knishes. Not sure how they could be shipped but worth asking them. You'd have to call them during regular business hours.

They do, and I think it's about a pound. But you'd get better and cheaper in a Whole Foods or Trader Joe's, especially if you don't need kosher.
