STAY AWAY FROM THIS LAB! My apt was at 3:40. I arrived at 3:45. Tried checking in at the kiosk. Didnt work. Sat down and waited for someone to call me. After 15 mins noone showed up. I walked up to the room where they draw blood. Very politely I said my name, apt time and that im sorry I am 5 min late. Right off the bat BIANCA the Phlebotomist attacked me stating im lying and that I showed up 2 mins ago. Very kindly I asked her can we please proceed with my blood work. Mind you noone was there except for a mom and daugther getting a vaccine with the pharmacist. She turns around and says no we're not doing it you're late and there's nothing I can do. I told her I've been sitting here for the past 10 to 15 minutes you can even go ask the pharmacist. Long story short. She denied my bloodwork, very rude, disgusting attitude. She cancelled my appointment. Quest needs to do a better job training. Who in the world would hire this lady? She needs a reality check. Anyways. Stay away. Go to either tujungs vons or quest on verdugo where they actually CARE for the people. STAY AWAY FROM BIANCA AT LA CRESCENTA VONS QUEST LAB.

Had a scheduled appointment at 7:30am and was late for 5 minutes due to unavoidable circumstances at work. When I arrived, the lab tech, Bianca O., was still busy with another patient so I checked in immediately but an error message kept popping up on the screen. When she was done, she came out from the lab room and I asked for assistance. She bluntly told me that basically I do not have an appointment anymore since I was late and repeatedly saying it for a few more times. After a minute probably common sense hit her head and told me as a courtesy she “will accommodate” me even though “basically I do not have an appointment”. So, does this means that Quest appointment system deletes an appointment if a patient checks in outside the appointment time? And if you happened to chance upon a lab tech who is rude and does not know what a good customer service means, you will end up having a bad day. I work in healthcare too and was never rude to my patients even if they came late. Hope Quest Diagnostics company provides training to their employees on customer service with focus on knowledge, skills, and competencies required to increase customer satisfaction. Additionally, Quest needs to improve their appointment system for a better checking-in experience.
