I called the national customer service number to ask a simple question about sizes of letters and packages. This is possibly the most infuriating phone tree I have ever come up against. They do everything in their power to keep you from reaching a live human. During either their first or second tier of options, if you sigh, they interpret it as you having picked one of their options, and when you say "No" at the top of your lungs, they send you back to the beginning... Over and over and over again. If I am ever at a party, and someone tells me that they are the programmer for the post office phone tree, that person will not survive the encounter.

Very unprofessional and unnecessarily rude. I really wish they would get some new people in this office because it’s always a terrible experience.

Ordered french steak knives for Thanksgiving, they shipped and cleared customs and as soon as USPS had them they lost or stole them. To make matters worse opening a ticket/complaint did nothing as their story changed every time I spoke to them and now they will not even call me back - ABSOLUTELY THE WORST! They have one job and can't even do that right. Ship FedEx or UPS only!
