I was a little early (on purpose) to pick my son up from WCU so I could visit a winery while I was in PA. Galer Estate was the one I locked in on and wasn’t disappointed. Beautiful vineyard and awesome wines. I’ll be visiting again soon.

This place is gorgeous! We stopped in to have a glass of wine, but ended up not - we had been out all day and were a little sunburned. So, just based on what I saw, awesome place and the staff was really nice too. I think this is probably not our type of place to hang out as the other patrons just felt kinda judgie, but I am reviewing so I remember to come back and try food!

I'm almost remiss to leave a review because I don't want more people coming here and ruining it for me! The wine is glorious, regardless of your palate, and as affordable as any other winery in the area. It's a great place to go before or after a trip to Longwood Gardens, which is literally a stone's throw to the south. They have some snack items for sale but you are welcome to bring your own food and enjoy their wine on the deck, patio, inside lounge and bar area, or the vineyard itself. A fantastic place to drink good wine and make merry.

The wine is great, location is beautiful (and easily accessible), and the staff are fantastic (shout-out to Amanda)! Favorites are the Gruner and the rosé. You can bring outside food since they only offer a couple snacks. Follow them on Instagram for occasional sales on bottles for pickup. Vibes are also great. Usually have music on Friday and Saturday night. They've just added a Friday happy hour. I like hanging in the Adirondack chairs in the back and reading a good book.
