Would give zero stars if I could. We came from out of state visiting and just wanted to have a fun night. My sister is 18 and she has a MN ID (not driver's license). We got all the way through the metal detector before this piece of garbage working there told us we had to leave because her ID did not scan properly. Her ID works for TSA and clear and other all other places requiring a legit ID. Just because mangoes has a poor scanning system doesn't mean we should suffer. If it was a fake ID, wouldn't she put she was 21? Also if it was a fake ID, it would be a current picture, not one from when she was 13! Don't go here. The staff just want to exert all their power because they have none otherwise. After walking around the block and cooling down, we spoke to the security man who told us he would help us in any way he could, but when we politely asked if he could please scan my sister's ID again, he blatantly refused. He told us to get a passport even though she is only in town for a couple days, so it's not like she can quickly fly to MN and back. Who casually carried their passport with them? When we offered to show him a picture of her passport he again said no. Additionally I know for a fact that many college students regularly go to mangos with fake IDs yet you pick on the poor girl from MN just to cover your behinds because her ID doesn't scan but the fake IDs do. Mangos only cares about whether an ID can scan or not. They don't actually care whether the ID is real. In addition, we were respectful to security even though they were rude to us.

I couldnt get in wearing 400$ jordans, I understand no flip flops. However the no jordans rule seems to really be targetted to certain ethnic groups. Base on that I will not be returning or recommending to any of my friends. Shame.

Friday is 18 and up. 18 year old people get X marks on wrists so they aren't allowed to buy alcohol. If you are 21 you'll get a bracelet indicating you are allowed to drink that night you attend. 18 and 21 are allowed around anywhere the mango dancance floor. Alcohol can be bought either Friday or Saturday if over 21.
Personally wear dressing shoes just to play it safe. But should ask security in person to be sure if cowboy boots are allowed.
