We used Budget as we have in the past. First car they assigned us smelled like marijuana. We were supposed to have a free upgrade which they did not honor, and the staff was very impatient as we unloaded our belongings when we dropped it off. Seems like all of the rental car companies are actually one franchise here and just renting under different banners.

A long wait to talk with an employee. It was very busy. Once I got the car, it went smoothly. Returning the car was very easy. Big shuttle buses take you to the cars and bring you back to the airport. It is a short ride.

No. The bus stop for drop off is amazingly far away from the check-in counters at Terminal A, and the location is much farther away then it needs to be. Plan on a 1/4 mile walk outside with your luggage. The car rental bus drivers drive right by the check-in counters area at Terminal A to a stop at the end of the terminal for arriving passengers. It's painful for all departing car renters to see them slogging their bags back up the street for a 1/4 mile. If there will be only one bus stop at Terminal A for rental cars, at least position it centrally, so it is useful to both arriving and departing passengers. Ideal would be to have both a drop off stop and a pickup stop at Terminal A to the rental car bus management.

Bus shuttles are 24/7. We run about 15 mins or less apart from eachother. Just tell the bus driver what airlines you need. They will take you or they will direct you to the right bus to get there.
