Fun clean taste testing Ice cream and teas- all you want. Make your own ice cream fun but not totally necessary if only doing it for ice cream. Timed entrance for making your own flavor.

Okay so this was a first time experience for my kids and myself, we had a great time, the facility is very clean, the staff is very nice and friendly. We all got to make our own Pt size ice cream. They have a nice gift shop with lots of cool things to buy. I would differently do again.

My family loved it here. Lots of history and very educational for the kids. This was a great place for our homeschooling field trip! We did the taste lab and the kids really enjoyed it. The woman who did the presentation was great. This could be a quick trip or make it an all day fun learning experience!

Really great! My husband, myself, and our three teen-aged children went. It is not just for young children. People of all ages were there. Lots to do and to have fun! The "make-your-own ice cream flavor class" was great!!! The "Turkey Hill Experience" was very interesting - a lot about the history of Turkey Hill and the Lancaster area. Very informative about making ice cream.....and samples of iced tea and ice cream are included!

Yes, but if you plan to make your own ice cream I recommend scheduling ahead of time
Yes! There's fun for all ages! If he likes ice cream, he'll love this place! :)
Yes
Yes, you can purchase tickets at the front counter but it's recommended you purchase some ahead of time. You can do this online.
Nowhere close, packed and small
A couple of hours but longer if you like. Lot's to do and see. Kids will love it.
There is a gas station right next to it. There most likely. Unsure of the experience tho
You can purchase tickets for the self guided tour on the spot. Tickets for the Demo where you create your own flavor/icecream can also be purchased on the spot. However, the sessions are scheduled at specific times throughout the day. If you have time constraints and need to get into a specific timeslot, you may want to purchase the ticket in advance.
Yes, I just went yesterday and you have to wear a mask and stay six feet away from other people and there is a lot of hand sanitizer around . But you can go
There are alot of flavors out but not all of them because some are only seasonal or regional.
Sorry I don't know. It may be on their website.
Hi Jenna! We do have Italian Ice as an option in our Taste Lab. Please let us know in advance so our friends in the Taste Lab can have it scooped and ready for you!
Hi Teresa! You can reach the Turkey Hill Minit Market at (717) 684-0817.
Hi Mel! Our Turkey Hill Experience tickets are for general admission into our interactive exhibits. You can then purchase tickets to additional experiences. In our Taste Lab, you learn about the ice cream making process and get to make your own ice cream (super fun!). In our Tea Discovery, you learn about teas from around the world. Hope this is helpful!
We do have annual memberships! Please visit https://turkeyhillexperience.com/plan-your-visit/admission-membership for more info.
Not sure, you may want to check their website
They have ice sorbet ones, probably they are non dairy. Still please check at the counter as they rotate the flavors they have any particular day.
Hi Sherry! There is unlimited ice cream and iced tea samples. We do not have a snack bar or restaurant on site. However, Burger King is located directly behind us and there are a few restaurants nearby in Columbia, PA.
Try asking on the website...they may have better answers...
Direct this type of question to the Turkey Hill Consumer Relations, the 800 number is found on all Turkey Hill packaged products.
You can use it to make an ice cream or iced flavor , commercial , you put the number in the computer while at the experience build your flavor and them look it up when you get home
Generally crowded regardless to the time of the year. Parking is congested. If you're a large group, it is best to get group discount pricing. Expect to organize your own since there are no your guides. The free ice cream is limited to a small sample but you can return through the line as often as you like. The floor gets sticky due to spills throughout the upstairs activities. There is a gift shop as you enter. The make your own ice cream sundaes area are organized with instructions but the class is large. Photo opportunities are throughout. IMO it wasn't enjoyable due to the chaos. It isn't a cheap tour either. No I wouldn't go back again.
All of the ice cream they had was made form regular milk so bit out of luck for that. Various flavors of Ice teas would be the only thing your grandchild could have. There are over the counter lactose pills one can take before consuming regular dairy products for lactose intolerance. (Not a medical advice)
They accept all major credit cards as well as cash.
You do realize that corn syrup is just as bad for you as the hfcs
