Still the standard by which all other produce markets are judged, this fruit and vegetable bazaar is not only the stuff of legend, but many world-renowned chefs can be seen shopping here in the early morning hours. In the Quest for amazing produce, the Monterey Market stands heads and shoulders above just about any other produce store. There are season varietals, and organic sections among the best in the nation. The staff are very helpful and kind, and you can call ahead and order. Secret Insider tip: I see chefs from several of the East Bay finest restaurants shopping here early in the mornings, and that is a good sign. Amazingly empty today due to The covid-19 regulations.

This is the best produce market in the Bay Area. The variety of fruits, vegetables, especially mushrooms is amazing and fresh. Great herbs section, too! I rely on this place to buy ingredients for making any international dishes.

It is a fruit and vegetable market. They have excellent organic (and non-organic) produce. They also sell some wines and some baked stuff. They also have freshly squeezed juice. I hope that answers your question.
Don't know about that. Wonderful produce market. Very busy always. Great prices, great produce. Best in East Bay. Everything always fresh, lots of organic, wonderful selection of mushrooms.
