We had an okay stay for two nights. The AC units would not kick in until about 6 hours later after being set at the lowest temperature. With it being summer time, this made it uncomfortable when trying to sleep at night. The breakfast is very subpar with only a few options to choose from and by the end of breakfast hours, food that should be kept warm was cold and others were burnt. On our last day, before it was check out time, a member of the staff continuously tried to walk into our rooms to say we had to check out. We still had about 40 minutes until we had to leave, but this member insisted on kicking us out early. I am thankful that I turned the top lock on the night prior, which prevented him from coming into our room on his own terms. This was completely unacceptable and inappropriate behavior by a staff member.

Positive: No mold. Negative: Listing said there was a pool and hot tub. Both were closed off. Only two pillows for a king sized bed and manager got mad when we asked for two extra pillows. Fridge wasn't cold - couldn't really use it.

Been here for 2 weeks first week was great then we were moved to the 3rd floor for new guests and now just the worse no house keeping and the whole 3rd floor is covered in cockroaches, had one fall out of my hair and now when I leave I will have to go through all my clothes to be sure that there are no cockroaches and my boyfriend being a vet we would expect better treatment. We informed the front desk of the cockroaches because we understand that things happen but nothing has been done about the problem. Paying way to much for a bug infected stay is just greed and inhumane the Streets are more sanitary. I hate writing bad reviews but I prefer to inform people, the staff members are great but they have their hands tied dues to management

I don’t normally leave reviews, but given the amount of negative comments, I wanted to take a minute to describe my positive and pleasant experience. Like many here, we were concerned about the hotel, yet our room was spacious and clean, the bed was very comfortable and the staff was courteous and friendly. We also had a decent continental breakfast. We would stay again and recommend this hotel to anybody looking for an affordable place while visiting Asheville.
