Nice place to visit.

Other than road construction right outside making it a little difficult to get in the parking lot it was well worth the low cost. The staff was great the exhibits were fantastic and very well set up. The towers last 45 steps to the top was easy and well worth the view. A must see for the history buff

2 memorial drive, Kansas city missouri 64108. It's right there, above your question...
Admission is actually free for veterans/active duty personnel all weekend long (Friday-Monday) and then half-price general admission to the public during that same time. Below is a link with more information about activities during the weekend. https://www.theworldwar.org/memorialday
Adults $18; Seniors (65+) $14; Youth (6-8) $10; Children (6&>) $0; Military (Act & Vet) $14 https://my.theworldwar.org/2319/2940 Plan ahead for groups.
The archives are on the first floor. Walk in the front door, turn left and take the elevator down one level.
There are large grounds i would think you could walk (assuming you have doggie doody bags!). But there are three different exhibits indoors, and the elevator to top of tower that i wouldnt think theyd be allowed in...
You could send a picture of it to army or navy division in Washington for identification ofthat is what you desire.
They announce it ahead of time and try to get visitors out by 5, but they seem accommodating.
No. He spoke in Fulton. Missouri. The Churchill Memorial is worth the visit.
Depends on group or individual status. Senior, veteran, youth discounts are available. Group discounts may be available ahead of time arranged with museum staff. Memorial Day is free for veterans and half price for others. Children under 5 years of age are free year round.
There's an elevator inside. Getting around the exterior with a wheelchair will be difficult as there are a lot of stairs. But I think you can get to most levels from the inside elevator
The mobile Memorial is to the South and East of the entrance through the holiday weekend look for the vintage copter just to the west

Yes. Hot air balloon thing in the park. Vendors and food trucks are out
You would also see the whole downtown of Kansas City and the federal reserve is right there too
Yes! Wheelchairs are available on a first-come, first-served basis. You can learn more about our amenities and procedures at this link: https://www.theworldwar.org/visit/plan-your-visit/hours-admission
You can just show up just make sure anyone going in no matter the age has a mask on. They won't hesitate to kick you out or yell at you.
Hi, Donald. So normally the elevator to the top of the Tower would be accessible from 10 a.m. until 4:15 p.m. on days that the Museum is open, however with the current COVID restrictions in Kansas City, the Tower has been closed in conjunction with local guidelines for maintaining social distancing. The Memorial Courtyard at the base of the Tower is still open and free to the public, which also provides a great view of the downtown skyline. You can visit our website at https://www.theworldwar.org/visit/safety for more information about our current operating procedures. Thank you!
Most of the museum is open to see . but the tower and Ellis gallery are not
You could go to their website, theworldwar.org Or you can purchase tickets inside the main building. There is a sign above the door that says, Tickets.
No

I don't know about the setup of the Volunteer Corps.
Yes, however the explanations of the outside monument and rooftop is inside. All videos, displays, tanks and history of WW1 is inside.

The grounds are open 24 hours per day for visitors. However, the parking areas do close between 10 p.m. - 6 a.m. If visiting between that time, there is ample parking along Kessler Road just across from the Museum and Memorial grounds.
Why wouldn't it be? I would suggest calling to confirm.
Yes - the Museum and Memorial is open from 10 a.m. - 5 p.m. on July 4. Thanks!
Thanks for your interest in visiting! Yes, the Museum and Memorial welcomes service dogs and miniature horses in their roles as service animals. You can review a complete list of our policies at this link: https://www.theworldwar.org/visit/plan-your-visit/faq

Hi Pete - you can find out more information about the Walk of Honor program here: https://www.theworldwar.org/support/bricks
I went there a couple weeks ago hoping it was, and to my dismay it wasn't.
Yep! When you walk in, it's to the left in the gift shop.
I bought admittance to the musuem and the tower. I did get a small discounted for purchasing them together. They told me the ticket allowed as many in/outs as i wanted in a day and also was good for the following day. You don't have to see everyone in 1 marathon session.
I do not believe they have wheelchairs however you can call them and see what might be available
Thanks for your question! We have our annual symposium on Nov. 1-3 this year, but do not have a symposium around Nov. 25. That said, we will have a free program on Nov. 28 at 6:30 p.m. featuring Dr. Scott Stephenson about the German Army and the Kaiser's abdication of the throne. More information about all programs can be found here: https://my.theworldwar.org/events?view=list&span=month&k=public%20programs
Any day of the week is ok. The tickets you buy are good for the day you buy them and the following day. There is a 90-100 minute tour of the museum at a little extra cost
I say no less than 3 if you're going to actually take your time and really soak it in
Two Assyrian Sphinxes guard the south entrance of the Liberty Memorial. “Memory” faces east toward the battlefields of France, shielding its eyes from the horrors of war. “Future” faces west, shielding its eyes from an unknown future.
If not pay anyway, goes to preservation of history or an important moment in our world.
You need to call someone from the museum and talk to them personally when you ask a question on Google Maps it posts it publicly.
I've purchased KC skyline socks, sweatshirt, candied jalapenos and educational bookmarks at a discount with my membership. They have retro candies, I noticed.
Yes whats the price
All areas of the interior of the Museum area accessible. On the exterior, all areas are accessible with the exception of the top of the Tower (elevator most of the way, but 45 steps to the very top) and the North Terrace immediately underneath the Great Frieze. Additionally, the Museum and Memorial offers complimentary wheelchair and scooter service on a first-come, first serve basis. Thanks!
Wow sounds like good family history to tell the grandkids
There is parallel parking to the south of the museum entrance. If that fills up there is a parking lot.
I believe that the museum is the only WWI museum in the country but it us not federally owned.
However, the immediate origins of the war lay in the decisions taken by statesmen and generals during the July Crisis of 1914, which was sparked by the assassination of Archduke Franz Ferdinand, heir to the throne of Austria-Hungary, by a Serbian secret organization, the Black Hand.
You can buy for just the Day .
Different prices for seniors, Vets, and price is for a 2 day pass.
