I'm not sure how fair it is to review something you cannot access, but what a shining example of government inefficiency and failure to serve the public. You cannot get in without an appointment or camping in the lot to get in when doors open. Even then, appointments skip ahead of you. You can't make an appointment within 6 weeks either. They are booked for at least a month and a half ALL THE TIME. This is ludicrous.

This place is horrible if this is what America is we should be 😔 3 weeks to get you're business done then you wait till that day and they say we don't have time you'll have to make another appointment. Who do you contact about the horrible tax dollars going to waste? No wonder why so ppl drive without a license .

Best DMV I've ever been to. In and out super fast.

I’ve called this number multiple times and days am literally have not gotten one answer. And can’t find anything I’m looking for online.

You need to bring your current licence or ID, a proof of address which would be mail from a government agency, money to pay for the renewal, your original birth certificate or a certified copy (emphasis on certified), and your social security card or a W-2 with the full number.
https://www.ksrevenue.org/dovobtainingdl.html This website lists everything you need.
Yes. On line. Get pae with info from DMV.
I believe you just need to make an appointment through their website and bring in two pieces of mail with her name on them at the address you want.
KDL
Just go to the dmv and renew
I don't really know all the answers to your questions... However my 17 year old granddaughter had a permit and just had to have her picture taken for an actual license, no driving test as long as she had enough driving hours logged.
It varies but getting there early helps a lot and now you receive a password for the line
There is one in Topeka and one in mission. I think their hours are like 8-11:30 am though so you have a limited time
Take Mail with address, birth certificate..social security card
How did he loose it. If it just fell out of his pocket go to the driver's license station to get a duplicate.
You can do any in the State of Kansas, no matter the county.
I believe you need the yellow star, the "real id" mark in the corner. I would recommend calling them to ask what you need both to fly and to get this mark.
Yes. You have to get the appointment first.
Birth certificate social security card tWo proof of address
Yes
You need a piece of mail with your new address on it and make appt.
Your will need two pieces of mail with your current address. They prefer bills, but will use anything that is printed and not hand written. If you have not gotten a star on your license yet, you will also need your birth certificate and Social Security card. You should make an appointment instead of just walking in. Your are also able to change your address online for free. But it will only be noted online for police and such. This is a good idea if you can't get to the DMV right away.
Thats all you need. You need 1 item from list a and 1 item from list b. And thats one from each. Make sure it is a certified copy or original birth certificate
They are taking walk-ins but I suggest making an appointment online.
A passport. You can order a birth certificate from IKAN if you were born in Kansas to be picked up in Topeka as well.
Yes
You have to go on line or call for an appointment. You need two forms of Identidication. I had a passport and a birth certificate. It is helpful to have something with your address on it like a utility bill. I did not have one with me and did okay...however they did ask for it. They also ask if I had my ss card. I did not have that with me either. Cost was about $25.
I think you need appointments for everything.
Yes, I believe you do. Or I believe a state issued birth certificate is accepted.
I went to Lawrence DMV on Tuesday. They said would take up to 45 days, if I didn't receive it to call.
I went about 2 weeks ago and had to make an appt online.
I believe the new I.D. rules/regulations start in October of this year. Call the dmv to make sure.
Your old one and social security number
Short answer? Yes, you just need the proper documentation to gain a new one from that point.
KDOT has an app that is supposed to (although, I have not used it, it is supposed to guarantee your place in line). It is available on the Google Play store & IOS (for Apple users). Hope it helps!

Go to https://www.kansas.gov/ssrv-mvr-ltd/ to order a copy of your license record. You can also go to https://www mvronline.com. If you simply want to check the status of your license, go here: https://www.kdor.ks.gov/apps/dlstatus/login.aspx
This webpage will list everything you will need. https://www.ksrevenue.org/dovobtainingdl.html
I believe you do, one of my co-workers had the same problem
You would take all your documentation that you are eligible for the star plus that you paid for it and go back in
Yes. Proof of Citizenship must be provided for Real ID compliance. Else, your ID/license will not be REAL ID compliant and not a proof of ID for federal purposes beyond October 2020.
*Proof of Identity (can be expiring license) *Social Security number *Proof of Kansas residency (can be renewal card you received in mail) *Proof of principal residence address. (Can be renewal card you received in mail)
Social security card, 2 pieces of mail in your name at your new address and birth certificate
Everyday, they stop the behind the wheel test at 3:30 pm
Whether or not you would be a downer so those other people that are in need of your parts that seems to of just had a injoury seconds before you. Just luck ? I'd really likes to know.
Two
They have the machine to do the vision test. I renewed last month while wearing my glasses and was not asked to do the test.
As far as I know it's the complete one you get from vital statistics in the state you were born in...
Two items as proof of identity (usually your birth certificate and social security card), proof of residence (utility bill in your name, bank statement) and if you're a female and your name has changed from that on any of your documents, you will need marriage license or divorce decree to prove the name change.
Go to the site
Yes as you walk in
I got mine in about 25 days, if I'm counting right. I went in on July 12th and it was in my mailbox on August 6th. It may have come sooner but I was on vacation, so not really sure exactly when it arrived.
Drivers license
Yes people work there and answer phone.. call county clerk and request anther number
Its birth certificate, social or past ID. Since its federal they might..but probably best you bring other forms just in case.
