All the reps I’ve spoken with have been very nice. That being said, as a provider this is the most incompetent company I’ve ever dealt with. For months I tried submitting claims as an out of network provider yet they were kicked back as if BCBSKC didn’t even recognize my NPI or license. They said I needed to apply for networking status in order to make it into their system, but i had previously applied twice so my info should have been in there. They also tried to tell me that they didn’t receive the most recent application, but their system automatically sends a letter of receipt so i had that as proof, thank goodness. Finally a year later, I was notified that I was accepted as an in-network provider, I didn’t hear anything for months, no one answered emails, when I called no one could figure out what was happening. The initial email said you’ll be getting another email with additional info. That never happened. That was Jan, 2022. In June 2022 I finally got through an inquiry and was told in-network status was denied due to no need for my specialty. I also am not receiving ERA’s or electronic EOB’s so I can see how patients claims are processing. When I called I was told those are only sent to the patient. As a practitioner I’m legally obligated to keep those, so not sure why I can’t see my own medical office’s claims. I was given no other direction. Working with BCBS in Illinois was always so easy. I sang their praises and often encouraged patients toward their policies. Just really disappointed in the excessive problems and misinformation.

Highly recommend Meadows Dental Associates in Sarasota, FL. The staff and surely Dr. McCabe are the most competent team, courteous, reasonably priced, and professional that I have ever experienced. I am not a spring chicken any more so I have qexerpoeiced many dentists in my day! I hope he never retires or I'll not know what to do! LOL

Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Kansas was recently notified of a data breach that happened several months ago at Morley Companies, Inc., a subcontractor that processes some information for approximately 2,800 Blue Cross members. We take the privacy and security of our members very seriously. While no social security or financial information was involved, out of an abundance of caution Morley is providing two years of free credit and identity monitoring for those who may have been affected. Members who received a letter from Morley can enroll in this free monitoring by calling 833-676-2151 or visiting idxmonitoring.com. As a result of the breach, Morley has examined their existing procedures and systems to ensure appropriate security measures are in place and instituted new safeguards to prevent similar incidents from occurring.
