I have lost 2 of my packages now in this distribution center. I have no problems with any other usps distribution centers, but this one seems to be run by people that would be better off in a nursing home or a school for the mentally disabled.

The Kansas City Distribution Center / Logistics Center has problems. It is not alone. The San Pablo California Distribution Center near me has similar problems. Who knows how many others? I suspect they'll all degrade to the same level over time. Why? Start with Mr. DeJoy who crows the USPS is "increasing compliance with delivery standards." Sounds great - how is he doing that? He is lowering delivery standards. Lowering delivery standards should be accompanied by a corresponding reduction in customer costs right? Certainly Mr. DeJoy should be prepared for a corresponding reduction in compensation relating to the mess he's made of the USPS. USPS Board of Governors - wake up and take notice.

The same thing just happened to me I called and I could hear noises on the other end and they just hang up! My package been sitting there for days

You can either do it over the phone or there is also a form online. Do you know if it is priority mail? If so, your package should be insured. We eventually got a check in the mail that was about $100.
1) the 15th was the last time it was scanned. 2) it's looping around the building and will probably be late. 3) it's damaged 4) A combination of 1 & 2 and the most likely option.
18002758777. This is a distribution facility not a branch where customers can receive service. The scan u see is when we got the item. If the new facility that has your package hasn't scanned it to show they now have possession or its out for delivery, then it's goin to show it's still here even if it has left our building
That facility only sort mail for the local station/local post offices in this area. You would have to speak with the station or local post office that delivers to your address.

I have the same problem mailed a package 8/11/2020 it still hasn’t been delivered over a month ago and I paid priority service. No one answers the phone so you can’t make arrangements to pick it up
Short answer, no. Have to just wait until it gets to your post office.
Visit or call your local delivery office to start a search inquiry. Be sure to have your tracking number ready.
Not sure about talking to someone there, but they do have registry service there open to the public, other than that, this place is not open to the public it is a distribution center for truckers and their loads in and out.
It is a mail processing plant. There is a mail box out front. If your package won't fit the mailbox you'll need to go to your local Post Office to have a mailperson accept your package.
If it's bigger than the medium flat rate box, then no. And even then you'll only be able to access the regular mailbox outside the facility gates. You'll have better luck at your local post office.
All 3 did. One got sent back because my new mail lady who replaced the kind, professional, carrier I've had for years with no issues said first that the name on my package didn't live at the specified address. Which is BS I've always lived and gotten mail to my current address. The second time with another package she said my mailbox was inaccessible and in some god forsaken place. The third happened with the same lady after filing a complaint with the corporate office and they said that the package was checked out at the station and never checked back in after not being delivered. She said that all carriers know they aren't supposed to be riding around with mail that hasn't been delivered still in their truck. She told me after they don't get delivered they are supposed to be checked back in at the station. Which my tracking number stated was checked out for delivery and never checked back in after she failed to deliver it. I'm gonna ascertain the carriers name I want her fired.
It's just a distribution center.
Sometime mail gets caught in a loop and is just gets stuck 😬. Try another shipper and see if still happens.Also check the zip or have it registered.
