On 7/17/2022 I brought in a client from out of town who was told he had strep throat. When we we're in the intake process the receptionist was incredibly rude and demeaning, as was the Dr. I am from the desert and was ashamed that my out of town client was disrespected during our visit, as I told him the health care system out here is kind and considerate. I would expect more from an institution like Eisenhower.

I was treated very poorly and quite disrespectfully by the older woman at check in. Was there for lab work only. The first time a couple of months ago, at check in, she looked at me and said: "We all know about YOU", and laughed. Come to find out that my former employer had put me on Medicare by mistake (not old enough), which cancelled all my insurance except dental. Did they tell me? No. I then received a bill for $1300. I was not informed of the mix up. After my insurance was reinstated, I went in yesterday for more lab work with my new Aetna insurance card as a walk in. This same woman just stared and pointed to what she needed from me. They did not have my information for the lab work even after I had contacted Eisenhower to forward the paperwork to this location. I was then told they called my doctor at Eisenhower and was hung up on. Or so they say. Now while this younger, much nicer, more professional woman was explaining this to me, this older woman was standing in back of her giving me such an evil eye all though the explanation, like I was a criminal or something. Very unnerving! She was staring that frowning look for the whole time, and that look followed me all the way while I was leaving. Such a mean spirited old woman! I contacted my Dr. and asked for them to forward my information to Lab Corp. I will NEVER set foot in this location. Horribly unprofessional!

Don’t waste your time! If you are out of their network (I’m Kaiser) you will not get “urgent” service. I needed a simple X-ray for a possible broken foot and waited 2 hours outside then was brought in for another hour long wait. I left after an hour. It would be quicker to go to Mexicali and pay $100 for quick service and a smile. This location is terrible.

I called & was told appointment not needed. They saw me within 45 minutes of arrival without appointment.

can i make an appointment for this morning
Yeah just call, but urgent care does not have appointments.
Urgent Care is not an emergency department. Please visit EisenhowerHealth.org/urgentcare and click on the Emergency vs. Urgency flyer for a better sense of what they handle at the Urgent Care. You can walk in between 7 a.m. and 7 p.m. on weekdays and 7 a.m. and 4 p.m. on weekends and holidays. Eisenhower Urgent Care does have cash pricing available but prices are dependent on whether you require imaging, etc. You're welcome to stop by or call to learn more. Thank you.
Please visit EisenhowerHealth.org/insurance for a full list of health insurances accepted in the hospital and at our outpatient locations. We also have cash pricing available for urgent care. Thank you.
I have Medicare and AARP that's what I use
Best way of Getting doctor's records? After a few years traveling we learned it's best to show up in person to Doctor's offices and laboratories since you will need to sign a records release. In most cases they will copy and handover records immediately, however some have a third party that once they receive a records release will mail forward. Also keep in mind that most every doctors office charges for your records, anywhere from a twenty five dollars minimum, some charge per page. Having a history of your doctor's, lab's, xray/Mri's is in your best interest anytime one has an emergency or seeing a new Doctor. They can help prevent a Doctor from prescribing wrong or unnecessary medications to assisting Doctors with new diagnosises and treatment plans. Get and have a copy of your records going back as far as you are able. It's always best to first call and ask each office for a copy before arriving, to best inform you of their protocol.
