If the UK was hot & dry with an occasional monsoon summer. You would think you were somewhere in the British isles playing golf. I guess if you play this course during the Palm Springs winter you can truly feel like you were playing the British Open. This course has seen its fair share of eras. When I was a teenager that couldn't afford to play here. I made it my practice facility. Back then it was a virtual who's who in golf playing there. Then I really didn't play golf all that much for many years. Coming back to the game has brought me back to Desert Dunes. The facility definitely needs some upgrading. BUT THE GOLF COURSE IS PRETTY MUCH THE SAME. Yes it does need help. But for links style course. The state that it's in currently fits the mold. The rough still grabs your clubhead like it did 30 years ago. There might be less of it on some parts of the course but that's ok. And the course design is second to none. This course was master planned. Walking every single green still feel like a pro course. Very firm. Wish I could give another .5 stars. The facilities need help though. WATCH OUT FOR THE WINDS PRIMARILY APRIL INTO MAY & LATE OCTOBER TO NOVEMBER INTO THANKSGIVING I feel very fortunate to have a course like this to play at a true bargain. At the moment(summer season). You can play this course two or three times for the price of local club course or even city course in most parts of the USA. Amazon is coming to town so maybe Bezos & company will buy the course. You never know...

Attended an event here and I kinda feel like they watered down the Vodka. There were about 100 people attending and it was in July, but the venue was very hot. Staff was very nice.

This Golf Course is close to me. The people who operate the a pro Shop are super friendly and helpful.

This course looks like it was abandoned many years ago…it’s old, run down, not maintained and clearly a lost cause. Avoid at all costs.

Would not recommend playing here for at least a few weeks or months...almost every fairway is dirt...the completely stopped watering
A foursome, bought thru underpar.com is about $14pp. The course layout is challenging but the course is in very rough condition. Still it's a good deal.
Driving range, Yes
yeah, was supposed to start a couple of years ago. think these guys are in receivership so i wouldn't hold your breath.
Per the desert dunes website " Host to U.S. Open and PGA Tour qualifying events " So it's doubtful there's been PGA Tour event only PGA Tour qualifying events.
Grant Fuhr is in a group of owners and is the Director of the course
