It's more like 3 1/2 stars. The sites are gravel with a big paved pad. The pad was big enough so that all the tires on our 40 foot motorhome were on the pad. The staff are great and there are amenities. It just is way out there. I mean waaay out there. The prices are probably the best in the valley though.

55 & up resort, people very friendly, lots of activities along with a nice pool and 9 hoke golf course. We are heading back this winter.

My senior, disabled mom has been harassed non stop since moving in. No respect to her rights as a tenant or as a person. She has been threatened, intimidated, had her privacy violated. The office has told her personal information to anyone who will listen. Her electric bills are over $600 every month in a 500 sq ft home. Her complaints have fallen on deaf eras. Her garbage sits for weeks attracting rats and roaches because they won't pick up her garbage. Last week, a man claiming to be from the resort, came into her house and threatened her telling her to " watch what she's doing because the laws don't apply to you" She's 66, disabled and suffers from dementia. The office changes her gate code without notice. They send her mail back. She's lived here over a year. She has never been treated so poorly. Zero stars are deserved. To your reply. You obviously missed the point. The harassment. Perpetrated by employees of the sands. The intimidation and threats. Also by the sands. This rude treatment. The office sending her mail back and changing the gate code. The garbage not being picked up. Beating on windows and walls while calling out her name! Violating her right to quiet and private enjoyment over and over and over. Re read it. You missed some things.

I went there to get an application for long term. The lady at the desk was very friendly and from what I could see it looks like a place I could stay long term.
