I really enjoyed going to the surf side on base there are these beautiful rocks with small caves. The 🌅 sunsets were a delight to the eye and ones soul.

Questions & Answers

I just called the base and they said it was closed after sunset. Is this correct?? It doesn't say anything about this on the signs?

Right after dark, Plovers or no plovers it closes but most all State beaches close after dusk.. We've found its hit or miss. We've been there when it is pretty dark, but personally I think it's a hazard trying to get down the fairly steep hill to get right at the shore. I say just try it. That beach is worth it.
